We are one of 170+ affinity, cultural, and professional student organizations a part of the Cornell Students for Black Lives Coalition that is committed to utilizing their networks to amplify the black voices on campus in promoting activism and education to combat both blatant and implicit racism. As the Sage School's MAP Chapter, we are proud members of this coalition.
Acknowledging our financial privilege and resources at Cornell, we have started a fundraiser to support the ongoing movements against racial injustices, addressing both inequality in Ithaca and nationally. All donations will be split equally between Tompkins County Showing Up for Racial Justice, Southside Community Center, Communities United for Police Reform, NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and Black Lives Matter for Greater New York.
